Reflections on our Quantum ML Workshop
On April 17, 2026, Lincs lab hosted a workshop titled "Advances in Quantum Machine Learning for Network Anomaly Detection and Time-Series Forecasting” at Polytechnique Montréal, with both onsite and online participats from 13 universities and to industry professionals across various companies.
Organized in celebration of Quantum Day, the event brought together researchers, students, and industry professionals to explore the rapidly evolving intersection of quantum computing, machine learning, et cybersecurity.
Participants engaged with recent advances in quantum machine learning through our speakers talks and pannel discssions on various topics including: Quantum reservoir computing, Quantum recurrent neural networks, Gate-based quantum models, AI-assisted quantum circuit optimization.
We would like to sincerely thank our panel members and speakers for their valuable contributions and insights: Soumaya Cherkaoui, Ola Ahmad, Shengrui Wang, Cassandre Notton, Wajdi Hammami, Wissal Hamhoum, Alexis Vieloszynski, Abdallah Aaraba.
