We’re thrilled to announce that Deemah H. Tashman, a postdoctoral fellow in the LINCS Lab and the Department of Computer and Software Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal, received the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Communications, Signal Processing, and their Applications (ICCSPA) 2024. The conference took place in Istanbul, Turkey, in July 2024.

Deemah’s award-winning paper, “Securing Cognitive IoT Networks: Reinforcement Learning for Adaptive Physical Layer Defense“, was co-authored with Professor Soumaya Cherkaoui. This significant recognition highlights their impactful contributions to the field and serves as a strong motivator for continued advancements in wireless networks.
