conduct leading-edge research in the design and evolution of <strong>next-generation communication networks<\/strong>, with a focus on the convergence of <strong>communications<\/strong>, <strong>artificial intelligence (AI)<\/strong>, and <strong>security<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Our work addresses the core challenges of , <strong>ultra-high-speed connectivity<\/strong>, <strong>diverse data types<\/strong>, and <strong>latency-critical applications<\/strong>, while tackling complex requirements around <strong>real-time orchestration<\/strong>, <strong>resource efficiency<\/strong>, and Our work supports secure and reliable connectivity for <strong>Autonomous Systems,\u00a0<\/strong> <strong>Digital Twins<\/strong>, <strong>Industrial IoT (IIoT)<\/strong> applications.<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Federated Learning and Frugal Edge Intelligence<\/span>:<br \/><\/strong>We develop scalable, privacy-preserving learning techniques tailored for the edge. Our research tackles key challenges in <strong>data heterogeneity<\/strong>, <strong>limited compute environments<\/strong>, and <strong>secure collaborative learning<\/strong>, enabling intelligent decision-making closer to the user while minimizing resource consumption.<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Quantum Computing and Quantum Communications<\/span>:<br \/><\/strong>We explore how <strong>quantum technologies<\/strong> can redefine communication and computation. Our research includes <strong>quantum-enhanced security<\/strong>, <strong>quantum machine learning<\/strong>, and <strong>quantum optimization<\/strong>, for resource allocation, \u00a0for autonomous agent planning, prediction and preemptive control<strong>, <\/strong>and for the security for next-generation networks.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><strong><em>At Lincs Lab, we are not just keeping pace with
